43rd Annual Harambee Festival

The 43rd Annual Harambee Festival includes healthy treat bags, arts and crafts, bounce houses and video games for the kids. There will also be cultural performances, free medical screenings, panel discussions, legal and family advocates, early voting, plus a diverse collection of vendors for shopping and specialty foods. Harambee is an East African Swahili word meaning "Let’s Pull Together" or "Unity." Harambee was originally created as a safe alternative to trick-or-treating.
