Earth Day Dallas West Eco-Green is our quest
The Earth Day Dallas West event on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Mattie Nash-Myrtle Davis Park, is a great way to build relationships with community, nonprofits; i.e., Serve West Dallas, with business leaders, and most importantly, with citizens of our communities.
The event is a community team effort, and we will use the talent, knowledge, and resources in West Dallas to have a stellar event. Activities include music, local church choirs, poetry reading, children’s eco art, education on growing things, free plants, food, and much more. Such opportunities provide recreation/socialization, culture/education and community well-being.
As the AmeriCorps Vista for GrowSouth, we encourage you to join us in our efforts to build strong communities. In-kind donations and volunteers are encouraged.
